In my recent work, I draw inspiration from the compositions of my works on paper which I re-interpret on canvas. In this series of "circumflex shapes", I highlight my compositions with a line of white sand to give brightness to the colors and balance everything. A play of shadow, light and depth complicates the simplicity of the lines.
